Jessica Spengler
Jessica lives in a small town in Indiana, and is currently writing part-time focusing as much as she can on her own website, Drinkmatron.com, a blog that centers around drinking culture.
From a young age, Jessica's creativity spawned stories and poetry that she lavished onto friends and family. As she grew up, she became more focused and decided to concentrate on journalism. Her love of writing fiction never faltered; however, and in November of 2009 and 2010 she completed two 50,000 word novels for National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWritMo).
While earning her Bachelor's degree in Communication from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point, Jessica was a full time bartender. Besides learning the art of mixology and the best way to pour a Guinness, Jessica learned that her passion for bartending was as strong as her love of writing. She continues to experiment in cocktail mixing and has recently taken up beer tasting and will soon be attempting wine making.
Jessica has a minor in Religious Studies, and continues to research world religions. She also enjoys studying criminology in her spare time.
